Complete your Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB021) training online via Zoom and gain the certification required to work in licensed venues across Victoria. This nationally accredited course equips you with the skills and knowledge to responsibly sell or serve alcohol and meet Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) requirements.
RSA training is mandatory for licensees and staff selling, offering or serving liquor in hospitality, tourism, events, packaged liquor outlets, wineries, breweries and distilleries. You will learn how to recognise and professionally manage intoxicated customers and underage persons, support safe environments, and understand Victorian liquor licensing obligations.
Course Structure
- 6-hour LCV-approved RSA course delivered via Zoom.
- Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond (60-minute online module via LCV Learning Hub).
- Download your RSA Certificate of Completion after successfully finishing both components.
Assessment
- Assessment 1: Online knowledge questions (multiple choice and true/false). 45 minutes per task, 2 attempts, 100% pass mark required.
- Assessment 2: Three practical role plays (Drug Affected, Emotional Distress, No Food).
- Camera must remain on and visible to the trainer; assessment completed in one sitting.
Important Information
- Learners must be 16+ to enrol; certificate can only be used from age 18.
- RSA certificate is valid for 3 years; free online refresher required before expiry.
- Enrolment form and USI must be provided to receive certification.
Upon successful completion, students receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment (SITHFAB021) issued electronically.
